Currently the Customer email field allows up to 50 characters of emails, can be multiple as long as separated by commas.
It would be very handy to allow for multiple email addresses not constrained by size limit.
As well, when sending customer statements, if the customer record has multiple email addresses, only 1 TO email is allowed for sending.
The customer email addresses should be standardized across all email forms.
Noticed the issue with emailing statements today. Customer cards with multiple emails in the email field must have one email removed (form the customer card completely) in order to email the statement. Then we have to manually add the email back to the customer card again. This defeats the whole reason for adding 2 emails to the card in the first place if it doesn't seamlessly work across the whole program.
definitely need more than 50 characters
This is actually hurting our ability to do business now with modern requirements. This will force us to another platform.
Yes!!! I have several customers with two email addresses and combined they are over 50 characters.
